Lone Eagle Honor Flight
  • Leaving No Veteran Behind

    LONE EAGLE

The Lone Eagle Honor Flight ensures that all veterans, regardless of their geographic location in the U.S., are able to participate in their Honor Flight Experience.

What Is Lone Eagle?

The Honor Flight Network’s mission is to fly our nation’s veterans to Washington DC to visit the memorials and monuments dedicated to honoring their service and sacrifice.   While the Honor Flight Network is comprised of over 125 Honor Flight Hubs around the country, not every area is serviced by a  regional Hub. Lone Eagle Honor Flight ensures that all eligible veterans, regardless of their geographic location in the U.S., are able to participate in an Honor Flight trip.  The Lone Eagle Hub honors military veterans who served during the WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War eras, including the time periods between these conflicts.

What is the TLC Program?

The TLC Program is a branch of Lone Eagle Honor Flight that serves critically ill veterans of all service eras who have less than one year to live.

Juneteenth Honor Flight – ATLANTA, GA

Throughout our nation’s history, African-American men and women have answered the call to duty, serving with honor and distinction in America’s armed forces.

On June 19th, 2024, Honor Flight will recognize these contributions by celebrating Juneteenth with a special Lone Eagle Honor Flight out of Atlanta Georgia.  To learn more – click HERE

  • Apply Now

Visit our application links above and apply now.

  • Find a Guardian

Veterans are required to have a guardian for their trip. If you are a veteran, consider your son, daughter, grandson or granddaughter. Guardians must be 18 years of age and older. If you don’t have a guardian, we have a wait list of those who are available and ready to travel with you.

  • Wait For Your Call

Once you have applied as a veteran, now we ask for your patience. Our list isn't huge, but there is a waiting list about 1 1/2 to 2 years. We will call you once your place in line has been reached. If your health diminishes - please contact us right away.

Volunteering

Would you like to volunteer?

Lone Eagle Honor Flight would not be successful without the dedicated assistance of countless volunteers.  Support is required at many levels – office management, clerical support, and airport assistance at both the beginning and end of each trip.  Please consider the wide range of volunteer opportunities, as every little bit helps us achieve our mission.
