LONE EAGLE
The Lone Eagle Honor Flight ensures that all veterans, regardless of their geographic location in the U.S., are able to participate in their Honor Flight Experience.
The Honor Flight Network’s mission is to fly our nation’s senior Veterans to Washington DC to visit their memorials, at no cost to them. While the Honor Flight Network is comprised of over 135 Honor Flight Hubs around the country, not every geographic location is serviced by a regional Hub. Lone Eagle Honor Flight ensures that all eligible Veterans are able to participate in an Honor Flight trip. The Lone Eagle Hub honors military Veterans who served up through May, 1975 as well as terminally ill Veterans.
The TLC Program is a branch of Lone Eagle Honor Flight that serves critically ill veterans of all service eras who have less than one year to live.
Visit our application links above and apply now.
Veterans are required to have a guardian for their trip. If you are a Veteran, consider inviting your child, grandchild, or friend to accompany you during this experience. Guardians must be 18 years of age or older, physically capable of pushing wheelchairs long distances and walking/standing for long periods of time. If you don’t have a guardian in mind, we have a list of eager volunteers who can't wait to meet you.
Once you have applied as a Veteran, you are placed on a waitlist that is serviced on a first come first serve basis. WWII, Korean War, and terminally ill Veterans are scheduled for a trip first. If you apply and then experience a serious decline of health, please reach out to our Director via eagle@honorflight.org or (937) 521-2400 ext. 104.
