Lone Eagle Applications

Lone Eagle is a program of the Honor Flight Network dedicated to serving and honoring eligible senior Veterans who are not currently served by an Honor Flight Hub in their home area.

Please visit THIS LINK to confirm whether there is an Honor Flight hub near you. If a hub is available in your area, please apply directly with that hub. If no hub serves your location, you will be directed back to us to complete your application.

Veteran Applications

Lone Eagle Honor Flight recognizes the sacrifice and achievements of our nation’s senior Veterans who served up through May, 1975, by flying them to Washington, DC to see their memorials. This trip is paid for by grateful Americans. An Honor Flight is just a small token of thanks to every man and woman who served this country.
 
Lone Eagle gives priority to WWII and terminally ill Veterans. In order to facilitate these trips, guardians fly with Veterans to provide assistance and take part of this memorable experience.

Guardian/Travel Partner Applications

Honor Flight would not be successful without the generous support of our Guardians/Travel Partners. Guardians/Travel Partners play a significant role on every trip, ensuring that every veteran has a safe and memorable experience. Duties include physically assisting the veterans at the airport, during the flight, and at the memorials. Guardians/Travel Partners are also responsible for a donation of $600 to partially cover their own expenses (airline, hotel, etc.).   Please Note: Guardians/Travel Partners cannot be a spouse/significant other and should be one generation removed from the veteran  Thank you for your support.
